"I
find my work to be very rewarding as I can combine my
dedication to helping others while also linking our
clients to important resources."
Valerie has extensive experience working in the public
service sector. She has worked as an advocate/paralegal
at The Legal Aid Society, a project manager/grant writer
at a large non-profit organization serving individuals
with developmental disabilities at the YAI Network, and
a community development Peace Corps Volunteer in
Thailand. Valerie received her undergraduate degree in
Government from Wesleyan University and her graduate
degree in Management and Finance from Columbia
University.
Valerie is responsible for serving our Spanish speaking
clients, building BB&P’s brand, sponsoring community
events and linking community resources to each other.
Valerie’s impetus to serving others comes from her
parents’ example; they are immigrants from Ecuador. She
loves all things Latino and is thrilled to be given the
opportunity to work with the Latino community.
